A spooky leaf garland is an easy craft for kids this Halloween season and makes the sweetest festive touch. Start by going on a walk and letting your littles find all the cute leaves their pockets can hold. With a little white paint, some black painted eyes and mini clothes pins, you can create the cutest Halloween garland, perfect for a bookshelf or the end of their bed.
Littles love this craft because it isn’t very complicated yet yields a fun, festive feel to some of their favorite spaces. I styled it on their bookshelf, all decked out with Halloween books. It sure looks adorable! Add in those fingerprint pumpkins we made last year and I couldn’t love this space anymore!
Paint the leaves white with regular acrylic or chalk paint from the craft store. Dab two little black eyes onto the leaf “ghosts” and let them dry.
I used these mini clothes pins to pin them onto a piece of cotton twine. Aren’t they cute there!?
