Ahhhh, Friday. It was a week! Holidays can feel like a whole lot of performance for mom. I don’t remember anyone telling me that trying out the latest Pinterest idea on my toddlers would mean having to repeat them year after year for all time. Maybe mom doesn’t feel like making homemade pumpkin muffins with eyeball sprinkles in the spider muffin holders while still getting you to school on time. But alas. The blessing (and curse) of being a memory maker. Now we find ourselves in the ‘tweener’ season here in the States. You all go decorate those trees and I’ll be here drinking my tea, recovering from Halloween.
