Last year we had these beautiful candle wreaths in our window nook behind the tree and I loved them so much I ordered more for the rest of my windows this holiday season. They are an easy and festive way to add a wreath to a window without adding too much bulk and blocking light, something we tend to lack this time of year. The frame lets you add your own creative touch too.
We have tall windows and a high ceiling so I am using the medium size but the three different sizes available makes finding the right one for your windows easy. I tested a few different candle sticks out and loved how the brighter candles popped, matching them to my ribbon.
Use fresh holiday greenery, either clippings from your tree or a walk in a forest to decorate the candle wreaths, keeping in mind fresh does dry out and use caution with open flame. We rarely lit ours last year so for us that wasn’t much of a concern. You can also wire on faux stems. I like these from Terrain: pine and larch and these ones from Afloral: real touch pine and cypress. I used floral wire and fresh stems last year and am pondering doing the same
You could hot glue on sisal trees, wooden stars, or snowflakes for a cute alternative to greenery. The options are endless with these cute candle frames. And don’t forget some beautiful ribbon! Here are some of my favorites: any ribbon from EmmaLinh, vintage ribbon from VintageVelvetRibbon. I’m slowly getting our home decorated for this Christmas season but had all my attention set on Kai’s Super Rabbit Boy party this last weekend. I feel like I finally have the green light to decorate and am taking my time, enjoying the process and doing a little bit each day. Hope you are well my friends and enjoying easing into the holiday season. These beautiful images are from Ruth Eileen Photography. Make sure to say hi to my friends below and all their holiday wreath ideas on this fun blog hop!
