We’re inching closer to Christmas so here’s a peek at our Christmas table. At almost 34 weeks pregnant as we near Christmas, I’m past the point of wanting to fly across the country to California, as much as I’d love to spend a warmer Christmas with my parents and new nephew. Last year was such a magical holiday in our home, it snowed on Christmas morning and the little boys were so enamored with all things Christmas the excitement was palpable. So we’ll be sitting down to this table soon and enjoying basically Thanksgiving dinner 2.0.
For the tablescape I kept it simple. I used my collection of Farmhouse Pottery trees to scatter down the center, added tree clippings and some natural wood candlesticks. I love the combo of natural woods and glazed white pottery.
On each place setting I twirled a velvet grey ribbon and sat a pretty sparkle sugar cookie on it. A little treat for a special meal. Given the little people running wild in this house, a few disappeared before we even had time to take pictures.
What are some of your favorite foods this holiday season?
These pretty pictures were taken by my friend Madison of Madison Rae Photography. Her eye for capturing the lovely is spot on.
