I’m on the hunt for a lighting update for our entryway as it undergoes a facelift and I’m coming across some really lovely choices. So if you’re in the market for a nice pendant light too this post is for you. Good lighting is expensive but the good news is there’s lovely in every price bracket. I even found some nearly identical ones steeply discounted from the designer brands. So here are some of my favorite pendant lights for an entry.

There are so many choices out there! Right now we have the small Darlana lantern is gilded iron. I loved this classic lantern when we installed it a few years ago and many of you have asked me about it. It was one of the first things we changed because the light that was in there was awful, like 1800s parlor light. But now, flash forward a few years, I’m wondering if I want an update.

There’s just so many pretty options out there and when you’re in design, you get an itching for change probably more quickly than most. I’m also pondering the space layout and wondering if because it is a long and narrow entry, if I want two identical pendants spaced in the entry. That involves an electrical change so if I’m going that route I need to go that route quick! And sometimes when you add a time limit on my decision making need I freeze up.
