Shopping for kiddos is the best. This was definitely the most fun gift guide to create. Whether you’re shopping for your own kids or another precious little in your life you are sure to find something here to inspire your gifting no matter the age or budget. Now in my home, I really love promoting imaginative play and adore quality toys that are both well made and lovely, with the intention that they will become heirlooms. Toys are meant to inspire and engage the imagination and they don’t need batteries to do that.

Some of these are splurges to be sure, the Milton and Goose kitchen is a-mazing but pricey because it is so well made by a small mom & pop company. There are many beautiful play kitchens out there, I just adore the way this one is made. Here’s a cute one with a mid-century vibe and an inexpensive wood option here. With a little thought, the toys we bring into our homes can be imaginative, fun gifts that are lovingly cherished for years to come. And they don’t have to be an eyesore when they invade every nook and cranny of our homes.
