Gift wrapping and I have a love/hate relationship. I loooove the presentation of beautifully wrapped presents. I looove the way they look grouped under a tree. I strongly dislike the actual process of gift wrapping and all the non-recyclable options out there. I never know which end to tuck where and find myself frustrated by the process of trying and it only looking so so. Now there are so many beautiful ways to do it and mine always pass kid inspection but…that perfectly wrapped present just calls to my heart. Last year I created these frosted wreath labels which I loved. This year, no special labels, just some really pretty papers all “wrapped” up for you in this holiday gift wrap post.
A few years ago I found Jenny Steffens Hobick’s shop online. I love her traditional style and classic paper wrappings. I ordered all my wrapping papers from her shop this year. And they are beautiful. They have me wondering how hard it might be to use them as wallpaper.
Ruby Stripe is an ETSY shop that I just adore. Talk about another one where you’re thinking, “why don’t these come in rolls of wallpaper?” So so beautiful.
I think this gift wrap by Sara Fitz is just so whimsical and fun. We are using a couple of these patterns this year. Just adorable.
How cute is this line at Target!? Last year I used their wooden ornaments to make our advent calendar and every time I’m strolling through Target I can’t help but stop and stare at the beautiful wrapping papers.
This eco-friendly company sells reusable fabric wrappings. Beautifully printed and styled after Japanese Furoshiki fabric wraps the goal is to eliminate one time use wrappings and give the gift of reuse time and time again.
Another Etsy shop I just love with homemade fabric wrapping options. Some really beautiful options here.
Tuck a pretty ribbon and tag around any of these and you’re good to go. Who cares what the ends look like! If you’d like some more really lovely inspiration for holiday gift wrap, check out my friends below. Pretty pictures of my mediocre wrapping attempts captured by Ruth Eileen Photography.
