Gift ideas for the littles is always welcome around this time each year. And I’ve got a bunch for you! From inspired gifts for the kids to some non-candy stocking stuffers, I’ve found some great ideas. But what I’m most excited about are the unique finds from some small shops on Etsy. With so many small businesses the world over hurting right now, directing some funds for gifts to these sources (rather than the big box stores) does a world of good. So let’s start with this one first:
| 1. BigStuffed Sea Star | 2. TinyFoxHole Rattle | 3. TinyFoxHole Bunny Rattle | 4. BigStuffed Mini Whale | 5. TinyFoxHole Polar Bears | 6. Handmade Carrots | 7. Handmade Turkey Dinner | 8. Castle Blocks | 9. Crochet Bunny | 10. Lion | 11. Wood Tea Set |
Shopping for little girls is just so much fun. This year for Aubrey I’m getting her a Dinkum Doll. Have you heard of these by Olli Ella? Oh they’re just so cute and can sit or stand. I plan on getting her this sweet outfit to go with her doll. Here’s a peek at some other inspired gifts for little girls.
| 1. Poppet Dinkum Doll| 2. Wand | 3. Crown | 4. Casa Purse | 5. Handmade Felt Food | 6. Play Kitchen Utensils | 7. Beautiful Classic Books | 8. Dinkum Doll Outfit Set | 9. Mon Ami Cookie Doll | 10. Mon Ami Tana Doll | 11. White Marble Play Kitchen |
Now thinking about those adorable boys of mine. Clearly anything Lego or Magna tile-related is going to be a big hit and Cade is an avid lover of Legos. So he has a couple larger sets coming this Christmas. We also get them a stuffed animal from the World Wildlife Fund which helps endangered species and you can see some here from Cade’s 6th Birthday. But here are some other great ideas that would be sweet for a little boy.
| 1. Playforever Race Car | 2. Craft Activity Kit | 3. Tiny T. Rex Book | 4. Build Your Own Race car | 5. A Fox Found a Box Book | 6. Electric Train | 7. Stuffed Penguin | 8. Stuffed Whale | 9. Sparking Razor Trike | 10. Sing-along Karaoke | 11. Mini Guitar | 12. Natural Crayons
For Kai’s 5th birthday my dad got Kai the sparking razor trike pictured above. Boy is it a big hit and it isn’t your normal trike. Because it has the tiny wheels in the back and a stopping break that sparks on the ground, you can do some fun spins. And if you really bunch yourself up parents, you too can take the ride of a lifetime. Haha. Now moving on to the stocking stuffers. I’m always looking for non-candy options because Christmas is sweet enough. I make a cinnamon pull apart monkey bread in the morning so we do not need any candy in the stockings or Christmas gets a whole lot less fun for the adults.
| 1. Lego crayons | 2. Rei Holdie Folk | 3. Poppy Holdie Folk Farmer| 4. Fleur Holdie Folk | 5. Make Believe Wand | 6. Color by Number Vehicles | 7. Color by Number Sea Life | 8. Sports Go Fish Game | 9. Color Your Own Doll Necklace | 10. Color a Race Car | 11. Craft Pom Poms | 12. Craft Pipe Cleaners
I know this year is an odd one and finances may be tight so some inspired gifts for kids may not be high on the agenda. Your worth is not wrapped up in a package under a tree or what you are able to physically give. The greatest gift you can give those littles is your time. Spend time with them and shop small if you’re able for life is hard for so many right now, the world over. Make memories and experience this season together. And may it be a merry one for you and those dear.
