We’re less than two weeks away from a beach vacation to the Dominican Republic. This one has been on my bucket list for awhile and I’m excited to take the kids. Although a month away from our wedding anniversary, we’re considering this part of our celebration because this year is a big one. Almost 15 years married if you can believe that! Even with the kiddos along for the ride we’re excited. We love being together as a family and we’ve never taken the kids on a tropical trip. I think our last tropical spot was this trip to Antigua that couldn’t have been lovelier. This is their first opportunity though to snorkel and I’m soooo excited for them.
| Blue Bathing Suit (Also available in black and white) | Purple Floral Dress | Gingham Navy Dress | Striped Maxi Dress | Sunglasses | Straw Bag | Beaded Bag | Pearl Earrings | White Dress | Blue Ruffle Shorts | Sandals |
Needless to say I’ve been having fun prepping for this trip. It’s been a relatively mild winter here in New England but the warmth of the tropical sun is calling my name. Finding lovely outfits, researching snorkel gear for kids, all that jazz has been a great distraction from the cold. Here’s some highlights of my packing list above and the kid’s below.
| Girls Floral Swimsuit | Blue Bow Beach Hat | Light Pink Tee | Coral Tee | Seafoam Blue Swim Shirt | Floral Dress | Light Blue Dock Shorts | Blue Stripe Swim Trunks | Sunglasses | Silicon Packable Beach Toys | Inflatable Pool Ring |
A couple favorite finds include these silicon packable beach toys and these inflatable boogie boards for endless hours in the sun. We also got these full face snorkel masks which we will be packing along for some good snorkel time in the Caribbean. And because I’m terrified of Jellyfish I’m packing along this stuff and *hoping* it works if we encounter any sea monsters. I hope you’ve enjoyed our packing list for the Dominican Republic and would welcome any recommendations you have in the comments below!
