Serena and Lily’s Outdoor Kids Riviera Chairs

Yesterday I got our mud kitchen reveal up on the blog. And that was a doozy because hubby had to sit and write out how he built it. Now I want to dive deeper into some of the adorable details, mainly those ridiculously cute Serena and Lily Outdoor Kids Riviera chairs you all keep asking me about!

Serena and Lily sent me their outdoor children’s Riviera chairs which are a striking addition to this adorable mud kitchen and frankly, inspired the entire color palette. That lovely white and blue grey color became the inspiration for the entire kitchen, although I didn’t know that until they came.  It’s almost a washed blue color with tonal differences that create interest and a pretty movement to the chair. It was too pretty of a color to pass by. And someday when hubby gives in to my beach house dream, I’ll be painting shutters this color.

I carried one through Home Depot when it came time to paint in order to find that perfect paint color you see. “Intercoastal Grey” is the blue grey tone on the awning stripe and “Polar Bear” is the crisp white of the mud kitchen. Look no further, these exterior Behr colors were made to go with these chairs. Now I could wax poetic about these little chairs and it isn’t just because they were a collaboration with a company I adore. I had already been eyeing them for this project. I knew I’d need outdoor seating for the mud kitchen and I wanted that seating to be pretty yet practical. Boy did Serena and Lily hit it out of the park with these.

They are impeccably made which is a hallmark of Serena and Lily. The quality is truly remarkable. Whether you use them inside or out, they are true show stoppers.

Not only beautiful, they are comfortable and weather friendly–hardy enough to sit outside in rain storms and heat while equally capable of surviving mud-smeared hands with ease.

These are worth every penny. The Serena and Lily kids outdoor Riviera Chairs have gotten pretty dirty already, yet rinse completely clean and they’ve been sitting outside for the last month with no fading. I wanted the mud kitchen to have a cafe feel and what says “cafe” more than the iconic, french-inspired bistro chair? They have exceeded my expectations.

And to be honest, we all use them. I know they are specifically kids chairs and probably have a weight limit but we keep hauling them over to our fire pit since the rest of the outdoor furniture hasn’t come yet. Aubrey is 18 months old and you can tell from the pictures that they are big for her. Cade is 6 years old and they fit him perfectly. I see several years of use out of them that span many different age ranges.

If you’re in the market for cute outdoor seating or crafting an indoor spot for your kiddos to play, these Serena and Lily Outdoor Kid’s Riviera Chairs are real winners and would be the perfect choice. They do have the same chair in a grown-up version I’ve been eyeing as well. We might as well not fight over the kid’s chairs after all.
