Throwing any summer gatherings? A lovely charcuterie board is always a great idea and easy way to get guests to relax and enjoy the time together.  For this particular one I organized all those yummy individual pieces on the board so they created an ombré look in the yellow/pink palette. I grabbed different food items at my local grocery stores, mostly from Trader Joes really. Don’t you just love that place!? My goodness, so many yummy finds. I love combining sweet, salty, fresh and dried options. Crackers and special cookies are always a nice touch. And berries. Can you ever go wrong with lots of berries!? Don’t forget about a nice dip, here I used hummus with crackers. I forgot pita chips at the store but those would have been a delightful addition. I have never added sugared lemon slices before but oh my word were those things good.

I love how the different foods compliment each other and look lovely to the eye. Choose foods of different lengths and textures to get an interesting board.

I lay all my food items out on the counter and start from there. Especially if I’m wanting the board to have a nice, organized look. I love using my vintage bread boards. A large platter would work great. Have a bowl for the dip and use wax paper or parchment paper to keep the berries from staining wood surfaces.

From there it’s just a lot of stacking foods and arranging. I like them to have a full look so don’t be afraid to just pile that yumminess on. Tuck a few edible flowers on the board and voila! A lovely summer charcuterie board.
