This week’s gardening posts have me so excited to be outside more hence a whole blog post–the great outdoors–favorite finds! Our little seedlings are growing and are just about a month away from being transplanted in the garden. New England in the spring is my favorite. Everything is bursting to life and it’s truly refreshing. I grouped together some favorite outdoor finds, from outdoor rugs to our own patio set which I love by the way! Unfortunately lead times are no joke at the moment which is why I wanted to get this out while there’s still a shot at purchasing and enjoying items this summer.
| 1. Side Chair | 2. Love Seat and Pillows | 3. Copper Fire Pit Coffee Table | 4. Outdoor Rug | 5. Aged Pot | 6. Faux Basket Planter | 7. Patio Umbrella | 8. Outdoor Pillow (this is anais in indigo and on clearance right now) | 9. Ceramic Garden Stool | 10. Outdoor Dining Set |
A couple of favorites from our back patio would definitely be the dining set, chair and matching loveseat. They’re amazing quality. I got mine off Wayfair and had my doubts but also wasn’t wanting to spend $$$$ after fully landscaping the yard. It was a steal compared to other sets available at the time and such good quality if I didn’t know better I would have told you it was Restoration Hardware. Highly recommended! Another major purchase for us was the fire pit / coffee table. We specifically got this one because I wanted a substantial piece for our yard, loved that when not in use as a fire pit it could act as a coffee table and frankly, it’s the prettiest fire pit I’ve ever seen. It’s hammered copper, high quality and if you can swing it, worth the splurge in my book. Given how many times we used it last year alone even Matt, the consummate cheapskate, thought it was well-worth the money. Last but not least, LOVE love our ceramic garden stool. It’s beautiful.
Finding a good outdoor rug is quite the search. I have not personally tested or seen all of these in person but I do like the one I got last year which is number 5 below. My only complaint is that it takes forever for it to dry after rainstorms probably because it isn’t the nicest quality but it is inexpensive and I liked the neutral pattern. Three kids and a dog, I just wasn’t willing to spend money on the fancy ones. Here’s a roundup of some outdoor rugs.
| 1. Neutral Stripes | 2. Grey Vintage-Inspired Rug | 3. Neutral Stripe Pattern Rug | 4. Geometric Rug | 5. Neutral Pattern Rug | 6. Bordered Rug | 7. Neutral Rug | 8. Light Blue Vintage-Inspired Rug | 9. Blue Vintage-Inspired Rug | 10. Solid Blue Rug | 11. Blue Stripe Rug |
Here’s some more outdoor finds that caught my eye. I even found a copper fire pit that was literally a fraction of the cost of mine. Just be warned, I cannot vouch for its quality and I personally steered clear of fire pits that were elevated for safety’s sake around my little ones. But if you’re wanting the copper look for less, this one has some charm! Also, on my wish list for the summer are those white chairs from Serena & Lily for our front porch. They’re beautiful!
| 1. Lattice Chair | 2. Wicker Outdoor Sofa | 3. Lattice Chair | 4. Pretty Planter | 5. Outdoor Rug | 6. Ceramic Side Table | 7. Copper Fire Pit | 8. Garden Umbrella | 9. Indigo Fringe Pillow | 10. Stripe Pillow | 11. Block Print Pillow | 12. Dining Set |
I hope you’ve enjoyed the great outdoors–favorite finds round up. Looking back at our green summer yard with these pictures by Ruth Eileen Photography has me so excited for this year! Remember if you’re wanting updates for your yard, now is the time to purchase because the shipping delays are crazy right now!
